Biography:
Kokushibo is a significant antagonist in the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a powerful demon, holding the rank of Upper Rank One among the Twelve Kizuki, Muzan Kibutsuji's elite group of demons.
Originally a human swordsman named Michikatsu Tsugikuni during the Sengoku period, he was a contemporary and the twin brother of Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the first and most powerful Breath Style user. Driven by a desire to surpass his brother and fearing his own mortality, Michikatsu succumbed to Muzan's offer and became a demon.
Kokushibo wields the Breath of the Moon, a derivative of the Breath of the Sun, and possesses exceptional swordsmanship and demon abilities, including the creation of bladed crescents. He first appears in the anime during the Swordsmith Village Arc.
